ChatBotany is a physical computing project that allows individuals to maintain a remote connection to their beloved house plants through a chatbot. It explores the impact conversation user interfaces have on intimate relationships—user interviews revealed many people care and talk to their plants on a daily basis—and how an Internet of Things (IoT) device could support remote plant care.
